A continental dream realized on 12th March 2026 by 21 founders from 11 African nations.
Origin Story
Conceived by Prof. Raphael Nyarkotey Obu, Esq, a Christian naturopath, lawyer, and distinguished advocate for naturopathic regulation and education.
Having faced numerous regulatory challenges in Ghana, Prof. Nyarkotey Obu envisioned a federation that could provide a unified voice, professional standards, and legal support.
Prof. Nyarkotey Obu reached out to leading naturopaths across Africa, creating a dedicated WhatsApp platform to coordinate the formation of the Federation.
The inaugural virtual meeting was held on 12th March 2026, attended by representatives from 11 African countries who became the founding members of ANF.
