Biography
Augustina Yawo Apaloo is a dedicated advocate for naturopathic education and holistic healthcare development in Ghana. She is currently pursuing studies in Beauty Therapy, with a growing professional interest in naturopathic cosmetology, natural skincare, and holistic beauty therapy. Her passion lies in integrating natural healing principles with modern beauty and wellness practices to promote healthy living and preventive healthcare.
Augustina has served with distinction as the General Secretary of Nyarkotey College of Holistic Medicine, where she demonstrated exceptional administrative leadership, commitment, and loyalty to the advancement of naturopathic education in Ghana. Throughout critical periods in the development of the institution and the naturopathic profession, she remained steadfast and supportive, even during moments of institutional pressure, national security concerns, and threats of arrest connected to the struggle for recognition and preservation of naturopathic education.
Her courage, resilience, and unwavering dedication contributed significantly to sustaining and protecting naturopathic education in Ghana during difficult periods of professional and regulatory challenges. She played an important supportive role in mobilization, administration, communication, and institutional continuity, helping to ensure that the vision for formal naturopathic education remained alive and progressive.
As a founding member of the African Naturopathic Federation, Augustina Yawo Apaloo represents a new generation of African holistic health advocates committed to professional excellence, natural wellness, and the promotion of integrative healthcare systems across the continent.
