Dr. Penehafo Haitamba-Shindume

Dr. Penehafo Haitamba-Shindume is a Namibian Naturopathic Doctor, lecturer, and health entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in integrative and natural medicine. She is the founder of Happy Health Trading, where she provides naturopathic consultations, nutrigenomics testing, body composition analysis, and therapeutic nutrition programs.

Dr. Haitamba-Shindume serves as a part-time lecturer in Human Nutrition and sits on the Complementary Medicine Committee of the Namibia Medicines Regulatory Council and the Professional Committee for Complementary Health at the Allied Health Professions Council of Namibia. Her work focuses on strengthening the role of nutrition, traditional diets, and natural therapeutics in modern healthcare.

As Interim President of the African Naturopathic Federation, she is committed to advancing collaboration, professional standards, research, and policy development for naturopathic medicine across Africa. She holds membership across multiple ANF committees including Education, Legal, Research, and Media.
