About Dr Olawale

Dr. Qazeem Akinola Olawale is a distinguished naturopathic physician, educator, institution builder, and advocate for the advancement and professionalization of naturopathic medicine in Africa. He is a founding member and currently serves as the 1st Vice President of the African Naturopathic Federation (ANF), where he plays a leading role in promoting collaboration, regulation, education, and international recognition of naturopathic medicine across the African continent.

Dr. Olawale is widely recognized for his vision of building a globally respected, African-led naturopathic profession that is rooted in excellence, ethics, research, and traditional healing wisdom. As one of the key architects behind the establishment of the African Naturopathic Federation, he has contributed significantly to the development of the Federation's strategic direction, educational standards, governance structures, and continental partnerships.

He is the Founder and Provost of Olive International College of Natural Medicine (OICNM), an international college dedicated to training naturopathic and natural medicine practitioners in Africa according to global standards. Under his leadership, OICNM has grown into one of Africa's leading institutions in naturopathic education, with a strong emphasis on academic rigor, practical clinical training, entrepreneurship, and global relevance.

Dr. Olawale has championed the development of internationally benchmarked curricula, professional certification systems, and accreditation frameworks for naturopathic medicine in Africa. He has been actively involved in designing programs and policies aimed at strengthening the quality, credibility, and acceptance of naturopathic education and practice throughout the continent.

In addition to his continental work, Dr. Olawale has received international recognition within the global naturopathic community. He serves as a member of the Naturopathic Clinical Care Guidelines Working Group of the World Naturopathic Federation (WNF), where he contributes to the development of global clinical standards and best practices for naturopathic medicine.

Dr. Olawale's academic and professional background spans naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, molecular biochemistry, and the biomedical sciences. He is also a neuroacupuncturist with expertise in non-invasive brain stimulation for the management of pain, paralysis, and other neurological conditions. His work integrates advanced neuroacupuncture techniques with evidence-informed approaches to rehabilitation and integrative healthcare.

He is currently a PhD researcher and has participated in numerous local and international conferences, seminars, and professional forums related to naturopathic medicine, integrative healthcare, acupuncture, neuroscience, and public health. He holds advanced qualifications in natural medicine and has dedicated his career to bridging traditional healing systems with modern scientific knowledge.

As 1st Vice President of the African Naturopathic Federation, Dr. Olawale continues to advocate for unity among African naturopathic organizations, the establishment of common educational and ethical standards, the advancement of research, and greater recognition of naturopathic medicine as an essential part of healthcare delivery in Africa. His leadership, commitment, and pioneering efforts continue to inspire practitioners, educators, and students across Africa and beyond.
